Church Ponds was taken over by Tim Dye at the end of 2017 with the intention of making a great club water and match venue. The lakes are fenced and are also locked to the general public.
At the start of 2018 Tim has started the process of stocking the lakes in a big way adding over 8000 Carp and over 2000 Bream to the stock that already resides in the lakes. This has given the venue a much needed boost and the fishing this year has been great but it doesn’t stop there, stock levels will be closely monitored and over the next year or two and Tim plans to stock more Carp, Bream, Tench, Rudd, Roach and Crucian Carp where needed to create a well stocked mixed fishery. The main lake will hold a very good number of Carp and other species and the Canal lake will mainly be Roach, Rudd, Bream and Crucians.
If you are interested in becoming a member or you club would like to book matches please get in touch.
To the end of 2018 Tim has now stocked a few hundred Crucian Carp and Tench to the Canal lake and also a good head of nice sized Rudd.
